Ms. Carolyn Chin

Born in the U.S., Ms. Chin has established herself in many different fields with over 30 years of experience in the information technology and telecommunication fields working with enterprises of various sizes. In the area of business she was Vice President in Corporate Strategy of IBM, the highest level Asian American woman at IBM in its long history. More recently, she has been focused on small business and entrepreneurship and has helped several smaller companies grow. In addition, she has devoted a significant amount of her time on philanthropy. Besides her generous donations to worthy causes, she has helped non profit organizations improve their effectiveness in fundraising. Among her key positions include Executive Vice President of MarketXT and Chief Marketing Officer of Reuters America. In addition, she has served on over 30 boards and committees. Ms. Chin graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has also served as a White House Fellow.
