Ronnie C. Chan

Mr. Chan is Chairman of Hang Lung, a group of publicly listed companies in Hong Kong with property developments and investments in Hong Kong and Shanghai. He co-founded the privately held Morningside Group, which owns and manages companies around the world. He is also a Director of Standard Chartered PLC and a former Director of Motorola, Inc.

Mr. Chan is Chairman of the Asia Business Council, the Hong Kong-U.S. Business Council, and the China Heritage Fund. He chairs the Executive Committee of the Better Hong Kong Foundation and of the One Country Two Systems Research Institute. He serves on the governing bodies of the Asia Society, the East-West Center, the Eisenhower Exchange Fellowships, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the University of Southern California among others. He is a former Foundation Board member of the World Economic Forum.

Mr. Chan is a frequent speaker at international conferences and has published numerous articles in the International Herald Tribune, Financial Times, Newsweek, Fortune, Asian Wall Street Journal, Far Eastern Economic Review, and Japan Times. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California. He resides in Hong Kong with his family.
