Savio W. Tung

Savio W. Tung is currently the Managing Director, Technology Investment Group Head at Investcorp.

Before joining Investcorp in 1984, Savio Tung was Deputy Managing Director and General Manager of the Arab Asian Bank of Bahrain where he served on the credit, treasury and management committees and was a director of Arab Asian International of Hong Kong, a subsidiary. Prior to that he spent nine years with Chase Manhattan Bank, where his responsibilities included marketing of investments and corporate financial services to institutional and corporate clients in the Gulf area and working with Chase Manhattan Ltd., the bank’s London merchant banking subsidiary, on large syndicated loan financing transactions. He was a key executive in establishing Chase’s Bahrain office and marketing presence in the Gulf. He also served as Chief Representative at Chase’s Abu Dhabi office.

As a member of Investcorp’s senior management, he sat on various Investcorp portfolio company boards, including Club Car, Circle K, Saks Fifth Avenue and CSK Auto.

Savio holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University. He is a trustee of Columbia University and is on the board of the Columbia Investment Management Company.
